Mark John Stewart is a leader in strategy, governance, and entrepreneurship and the Managing Director of consulting firm Wentworth Strategy Group. He serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Bay Area Health Trust, Co-Chair of the City of Hamilton Mayor’s Task Force on Transparency, Access and Accountability, advisor to international charity Empowerment Squared, and President of marketing and communications agency FlyPrint.
Currently an Industry Professor focused on strategic management with the McMaster University Master of Communications Management program and DeGroote School of Business Executive Education, Mark John’s academic leadership experience includes serving as President of the McMaster Alumni Association, and as a member of McMaster’s Board of Governors. He is a member of the African and Caribbean Faculty Association of McMaster (ACFAM) and supports the McMaster-led Canadian Caribbean Institute (CCI).
As a public speaker and educator, Mark presents to a diversity of global audiences on strategy, governance, entrepreneurship, leadership, and reputation and relationship building. Mark holds an MBA in Strategic Market Leadership from the DeGroote School of Business and an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors at the Rotman School of Management, and has also completed executive studies at Harvard Business School and the Schulich School of Business.
