Processes get adopted, adapted, and ingrained within our day-to-day duties and when those processes are challenged or changed, we naturally resist. But change is necessary – to improve, enhance, and to innovate. Understanding the necessity of change within your organization is key to establishing a culture of innovation that is critical for long-lasting business success.
Having an innovative culture – an environment where employees have the confidence and freedom to take risks, collaborate and leverage the strength of their team, and bring breakthrough products and services to the market – is a top priority for many business leaders. However, knowing how to design, develop and nurture this rare type of culture can be confusing and at times, overwhelming.
This two-day session will examine change and innovation within organizational teams from all angles. The course will give participants an opportunity to practice innovation techniques, through simulation and experiential learning, that will allow for immediate implementation in the workplace. Key questions about how to be more creative and innovative will be presented by various experts. Participants will also get a look into the psyche of team members and why change is such a large hurdle to overcome. Finally, the course will give an organizational overview of how an innovation culture can be achieved and how it will make a difference throughout your workplace.
