Dr. Milena Head
Dr. Milena Head is a Professor of Information Systems and the Wayne C. Fox Chair in Business Innovation at at the DeGroote School of Business. Her research focuses on human-computer interaction, technology use and misuse. She has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers and has been the recipient of several prestigious research and teaching awards. Dr. Head is also the Academic Director of DeGroote’s EMBA in Digital Transformation, where the goal is to develop leaders that can effectively leverage digital technologies for data-driven decision-making and strategy formation.
Jonathan Carrigan is a founding member of a new corporate transformation office at Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE) that oversees and guides MLSE’s Vision 2020 digital transformation initiative. Prior to this role, Jonathan established and lead MLSE’s Business Intelligence Centre of Excellence, which includes analytics, database marketing, and digital (social, mobile, web), where he worked with senior leadership to apply data analytics across the business, and developed omni-channel strategies for data acquisition, fan engagement, and monetization. Before joining MLSE, Jonathan lead Digital Product Development and Design at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) where he operated at a national level in support of strategic planning across business lines, including News, Sports, TV, and Radio. Jonathan has an MBA specializing in technology management, and he speaks regularly at industry events and conferences in Canada and abroad.
