Dr. Norm Archer is Professor Emeritus at the DeGroote School of Business, where he continues to teach as the Program Coordinator for the Masters of Science in eHealth Program. He has served as a consultant in a number of class action law suits involving identity theft and data breaches. He is lead author of the recent book, Identity Theft and Fraud: Evaluating and Managing Risk, published in 2012 by the University of Ottawa Press.
Dr. Archer carries out research on electronic health applications and systems; electronic business; identity theft; and change management in eGovernment. Dr. Archer has published in a number of journals and consulted on issues related to computer system and software selection, and project management.
Dr. Archer holds a PhD in Physics from McMaster University. He has taught previously in Executive Education programs, including a recent eHealth program delivered for an audience in Nigeria using a combination of online and face-to-face learning modes.
