Leading with Emotional Intelligence

Learners will examine emotional intelligence concepts and their impact on productivity in the workplace. This module helps the learner create self-awareness of their leadership style and the impact it has on others, in order to effectively influence the work environment both individually and in teams.

Learning Outcomes

  • Gain insight into your current level of emotional intelligence and identify developmental strategies.
  • Learn what the latest research says about the link of EI to workplace success.
  • Differentiate the emotional intelligence dimensions required for effective use of various leadership styles.
  • Examine how different dimensions of EI impact the ability of leaders to influence and engage others, stimulate learning, manage change and build resilience.
  • Practice increasing skill level in one or two relevant emotional intelligence dimensions.
