Coaching: Vital Conversations

Vital Conversations are candid, goal focused and feedback rich.  They have the power to increase productivity and engagement. They form the foundation upon which strong, collaborative teams are built.  They are based in a coaching framework and encourage open collaboration as you work with others to achieve your objectives and build strong trusting relationships with your direct reports and colleagues.

Vital conversations can also be challenging conversations.  We know we need to have them, but the stakes can be high, and sometimes they don’t go as we intended; leaving us hesitant to re-engage in them.

This one day program will offer models, tools, and tips to help you conduct vital conversations effectively.  We will discuss some of the common pitfalls and barriers which can derail them.  We will offer a variety of ways for you to engage with the materials, practicing with them on real life situations and receiving feedback on your own strengths and potential vulnerabilities when engaging in high pressure situations.

You will benefit from:

  1. Hands on approach to learning
  2. Practical tools that have immediate impact
  3. Connecting with like-minded individuals/professionals and developing a network of colleagues who share an interest in changing the face of healthcare
