Women's Breakfast Series

The DeGroote Women’s Breakfast Series serves to promote, develop and encourage women’s advancement in business. We will present opportunities for women to network, learn and mentor one another through a speaker’s series featuring accomplished women who will share their stories of achievement but also the challenges they faced along the way.

The series will run every month, from 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. A light breakfast will be served with opportunity for conversation and sharing.

DeGroote prides itself on providing education experiences that will not only bring together leaders in industry but also provide opportunities for life-long learning.

Join Natalie to hear about her personal story of success, and a discussion about wealth management as it relates to women. She will provide an in depth look at the differences between men and women when it comes to investing money.

Additionally, Natalie will discuss some of the most common mistakes women make when it comes to investing, and teach participants how to avoid those common errors.

Join Dr. Teal McAteer for an introspective look at how your thinking styles affect your management and leadership behaviours. On April 24, 2012, Dr. McAteer will help you take a closer look at some of the essential competencies required today in both our professional and personal lives.  These will include emotional intelligence, cultural intelligence, authenticity, change and stress management, time management, and the ability to deliver difficult messages.

Participants will have the opportunity to get started on their “thinking styles profile” and connect their productive and non-productive patterns to their management and leadership behaviours!
